The XIV International Fishery Congress took place in Vladivostok, Russia, from October 3 to 4, 2019 under guidance of vice chairman of Russian Federal agency of Fishery Mr. Savchuk Piotr Stepanovich. Congress concept reflected the task set by the Russian Government on increasing volumes and financial return of Russian fish and seafood export. The main focus was put on increasing efficiency of local fishing and fish processing by involving an experts from Europe and APEC countries.
Arnis Petrānis, PERUZA chairman of the board, participated in this congress with a speech and presentation of innovative solutions for pelagic fish processing. Focus on the creation of Center of Competences for education and training the engineers, technicians, equipment operators in close partnership with Russian equipment producer TEHNOLOGICHESKOJE OBORUDOVANIJE, is the new challenge for development of Russian fishery and fish processing in Far East. It is completely new approach of mutual collaboration. Arnis Petrānis ensured audience, that already realized projects in cooperation between PERUZA and TEHOBORUDOVANIJE carries out joint experience to install complex lines responding to the highest quality demands by assistance of Russian engineers and technicians. Local training and service center will be a stable support for fishers and fish processors to get operative assistance in maintenance of equipment and spare part delivery. This kind of cooperation is very awaited by Russian fishermen and fish processor society.
Congress was supported by Icelandic ambassador in Russia and well known Icelandic brands in fish processing as Skaginn 3X, Marell, Valka and Saeplast. Innovations and high quality standard equipment offers was the main subject of their speaches.
