The weight grader is filled with fish products by an operator into an infeed Z-type conveyor — one product per pocket.
Fish are transported and transferred to an acceleration conveyor.
Each product is then weighed separately in the flow weight conveyor unit.
The weight of each individual fish is compared to the correct exit gate grade and transported along the main conveyor to the corresponding exit gate, where a flap opens automatically to receive the fish into a box.
When boxes at several stations are close to their needed weight, the product is transferred to the exit gate with the lowest possible up-weight compared to the other gates.
Once a station achieves a correct weight for a particular batch, the machinery sends the boxed fish further down the line and the entire process begins again.
The machine requires just one operator stationed at each gate, allowing precise, fast, and continuous weighing of produce.

Up to 120 products can be processed within a minute with only four operators involved, thanks to the extensive module system.

The easy-to-use, intuitive user interface allows for the weight range to be adjusted, and this machine can be adapted for various products ranging from fresh or frozen meat and fish to vegetables and fruit.
Firstly, the products arrive onto the main product conveyor one by one in 1, 2 or more lanes.
Then the product is passed through 3D dimension recognition and weight calculation unit.
The program sends a signal to the robot with appropriate gripper to pick up and place the product into a tray or box to reach a set final weight range in packaging that can be adjusted in the user interface.
