This PERUZA Drum type nobbing line is designed as a high capacity small fish nobbing equipment. This intuitive and efficient equipment can process up to 900 small pelagic fish per minute significantly reducing the costs of your production. The drum type nobbing line can produce HG or HGT fixed length product.

Drum type nobbing line is perfectly suited for processing fish in length of 9 – 14 cm, such as sprats, anchovies, capelin and other. Processing slightly out of range can reduce output.

How it works

Step #1

Filling the tank and orienting fish

Firstly, the operator fills the tank of hopper elevator with fish. The elevating belt evenly brings the fish to the head-tail orientation, unit.

Step #2

Bringing fish to head cutting drum

Once the fish are correctly orientated, they are brought to the head cutting drum, where head, according to preset height, is cut off. There are 3 sets of different head height drums.

Step #3

Passing through vacuum suction unit

When the heads are removed, the fish pass the vacuum suction unit where the fish digesting system is nealty removed.
